It has been a tough season for the Millbury Lady Woolies volleyball team. They have just finished their regular season 12-8 and their league 10-0, which wins them  another SWCL title and qualifies them for the district playoffs. The Woolies have been led by Kamiren Warren, Lauren Kelley, Morgan Noel, and Katelyn Gasco throughout their past few games. If they advance through the first round of playoffs, the lady Woolies will face Advanced Math and Science Academy on Monday, November 4th, at Forekicks. Although the Woolies have a tough fight ahead of them, all players are looking forward to the challenge to work towards a district title, especially the 8 soon to be graduating seniors.

Not only does Millbury High have the chance for one district title in volleyball, but three more in both girls and boys soccer, and the boys varsity football team. The girls varsity soccer team is just finishing up their regular season as they are currently 13-3-2. They have a very strong bench and starting line up as they had only graduated one senior this past season. They are looking forward to another chance at yet another state championship title with their leading scorers of Grace Martin, Jackie Gilbert, Cameron Wilbur and senior, Audra McDuffie. Millbury boys varsity soccer is also finishing up their fall season as they are currently (10-5-2). Although the boys varsity team graduated a good amount of seniors last year including Timothy Dunne, Zachary Smith, Harrison Bourdeau, Philip Kagame, and more, they are still looking at another very successful season. Still leading the offensive line there is Will Savage, having notched up 24 goals so far this season alone. All Woolie fans are greatly looking forward to seeing how our soccer teams pull out in the upcoming tournament and wishing them the best of luck.

Finally the varsity football team who is currently 7-1, with their only loss to Leicester, a close match up losing 28-21. Currently ranked at number 52 in Massachusetts, our boys are fighting for a state title for our soon to be graduating eighteen seniors. This season we have had huge plays off of quarterback Anthony Greenwich, full back Xzavier Robles and running back Benjamin Smith.

All of Millbury sports are looking to finish their season on a strong note and will be fighting for those SWCL, district and state titles this fall. Not only will Millbury have tough competition in the fall sports but also in the winter wither their girls and boys basketball teams that are hungry for a championship.
