The boys and girls basketball seasons are winding down as we move closer to February break. The boys have two and the girls three games remaining in the regular season.

The girls basketball team currently hold the #1 seed in SWCL C with an overall record of 16-1 and have only let up more than 33 points twice this season.  The girls only loss came on January 12th vs Leominster.  Since then the the Woolies have won 8 straight games. The girls final regular season home game is on Tuesday 13th vs. Grafton.  The Lady Woolies will finish the season on the road vs. Sutton and then Leicester.  Individually the girls have 5 of the top 10 scorers in SWCL C this year.  Shannon Reno and Morgan Cronan with 11.3 and 10.8 PPG respectively.  Both have over 180 points on the season and look to break the 200 point mark over the final 3 games of the year.  Others in the top ten are Sam Brady, Jenna Nasuti, and Cameron Wilbur. The girls look for a strong finish as they head into districts.

The boys basketball team has struggled to close out games this season. They are currently 2nd in SWCL C with an overall record of 2-15.  Millbury started their season 2-4 but have dropped 11 since.  The boys had their senior night last week against Murdock.  As do the girls they will finish their season on the road.  They boys will head to Grafton and West Boylston looking to end on a positive note.  Even though their record is not what they were hoping the boys have had some individual success.  Billy Nadeau is currently #1 scorer in SWCL C with 229 points and Elijah Friedman 4th with 198 points.  Tim Dunne and Ethan McDuffie are looking to eclipse the 100 point mark on the season in the final games.  Good Luck Boys, finish strong.
